Bei allen Images gilt: es sollte jeweils das neueste Release verwendet werden!


  • Vor einer Installation sollten die Readme.txt (o.ä.) zu dem zu installierenden Release gelesen und verstanden werden.
  • Die E2 Images enthalten seit der Version TDT 0.2 folgende Dateien:
    • Enigma_Installer.ini
    • Enigma_Installer.tfd
    • ReleaseNotesTF7700.txt
    • rootfs.tar.gz
    • uImage

Für die Installation werden nach wie vor alle Dateien bis auf die ReleaseNotes benötigt.

CI-CAM - Fix:

CI-CAM wird im neuen Hot Summer Image wieder vollständig unterstützt. Im Rahmen ausgiebiger Tests wurde die korrekte Funktion folgender Module nachgewiesen:

  • Manchmal nach dem Zappen kein Ton (Ton oder Kanal umschalten hilft)
  • Nach längerem Betrieb kann es vorkommen das der Ton stottert(umschalten hilft)
  • Wiedergabe von mp3 Stücken kann zu GS führen
  • nur bei HDMI Tonübertragung: Bei Sendern mit AC3 kann es bei Verwendung der Einstellung "SPDIF" zu Bild- und Tonaussetzern, bis hin zum Totalabsturz der Box kommen. Bei SD Sendern tritt das Problem selten auf, bei HD Sendern dagegen sehr oft.

Bekannte Probleme:

  • Abspielen mehrere MP3s nacheinander bringt den Receiver zum Absturz (leider noch kein Fix verfügbar)
  • Bei Timer Aufnahmen wird immer Tuner B genommen


Sind 2 Versionen (einmal mit Modulen vom 0.5.1 und einmal mit Original 0.4.6 Modulen von TDT)

Bei einigen laufen die einen besser bei anderen die Anderen. Da es nun von GOst auch ein BA für den Topf gibt und der neue MPI von Black auch damit zurecht kommt haben die User so gleich was zum ausprobieren.

This release is based on the 0.4.5 and contains backported bugfixes from the releases 0.5.0 and 0.5.1 (see below). That is, the release is based on the old stream decoder drivers which seem to be more stable and do not have some issues observed with the 0.5.x releases.

  • Fix: improved a workaround to avoid freezes (especially on HD channels)

  • Volume control keys
    Due to an incompatibility with many menus the keys right/left cannot be used for volume control. Therefore, the volume can be controlled via the frame control keys |< and >|.
  • Timeshift sometimes does not pause even if it shows pause sign and the timeshift recording starts. Workaround: switch to another channel.
  • Timeshift ignores the recorded buffer if the time elapsed since activation is less than 6-7 seconds. Workaround: do not unpause timeshift in the first 8 seconds.
  • "Fast forward" does not work properly at speeds higher than 8x.
  • "Jump forward" can be used instead (see playback keys).
  • Rewind does not work properly. Sometimes enigma2 freezes when rewinding. "Jump back" can be used instead (see playback keys).
  • Samsung LCD TVs will probably have problems with the default resolution 576i.
  • HDD shuts down and spins up very often, workaround - disable HDD standby in e2 settings.

Open-Source GIT Releases

Da wird es nu schwierig! Da man sich ja die Releases selber zusammenbauen kann, schwirren diverse Releases mit verschiedenen Schwerpunkten herum. So gibt es zum Beispiel eines mit Picture in Picture Funktion (PiP). Am besten mal in den einschlägigen Foren informieren (z.B. AAF; ENIGMA Bereich und sh4 duckbox project) wo man an die sourcen kommt und welche Releases/Images gerade im Umlauf sind.

Ansonsten läßt sich zu den GIT Images noch nicht viel sagen, da das Open-Source Projekt noch ganz am Anfang steht und sich erst entwickelt. Es wird auf jeden Fall an der Verbesserung der TDT Basis gearbeitet (TeamDucktales ist immer noch an Bord!), an einem Neutrino und einem VDR Image. Wie sich das Ganze entwickelt, wird die Zukunft zeigen.
